Base Station Smart Energy Management System

This system is a smart energy monitoring and management platform specially customized for telecom base station. Based on 10-year-experience in base station energy management, Hop develops an overall energy management solution integrating energy acquisition, environmental status monitoring, energy-saving control, and data analysis & statistics. The system includes application layer, communication transmission layer and acquisition control layer. The hardware includes from intelligent control terminal to server. The software system includes all the software from the embedded terminal software to the platform software. This system solves the application problems in the field of traditional base station energy management skillfully with the simple hardware configuration, flexible and convenient networking mode and lower cost.

1. Power Source Detection

Real-time detection and measurement of base station energy types (Mains power supply, oil generator supply, solar/wind energy supply, battery supply). Audit & Statistic of electricity power generation expenses. Mains power failure alarm; battery voltage extremely low alarm.

2. Generator Monitoring and Intelligent Switch

Intelligently start and stop oil generator, monitoring oil level, voltage, current, speed, coolant, oil temperature, and other alarm information.

ATS switching between mains power and generator accordingly.

3. Energy Efficiency Measurement and DC Electricity Proportion

The air conditioner smart controller acquires the data of voltage, current, power, power factor, frequency and energy consumption.

PUE value can be calculated through a formula developed by Hop 3-6 channel din rail DC energy meter is applied to separately measure the DC equipment of different telecom operators in the same base station, thus solving the problem of electricity sharing.

3. Air conditioning environment monitoring

The air conditioning can be switched on and off remotely through the air conditioning environment controller, and the starting temperature and stopping temperature of refrigeration can be set. It can also collect temperature value of the computer room, smoke sense, water immersion, access control status value, base station high temperature alarm, low temperature alarm; access control, water immersion, smoke alarm, air conditioning failure alarm.
