Precautions For Smart Ic Card Electric Meter Operation

1. The smart IC card meter can only identify the corresponding IC card. When a user prepares to insert a card after purchasing electricity, he should check whether the meter is his own to avoid inserting the wrong card. Check your own meter method: turn off the switch of the meter box. If there is a power outage at home at this time, prove that this meter is your own meter.

2. After the smart IC card meter is installed, the power supply department will provide the user with a preset electricity fee for the replacement of the meter. After installation and connection, they can start using electricity. During this period, users can open accounts and purchase electricity at the grid point of the power supply company. When purchasing electricity for the first time, the preset electricity will be automatically deducted.

3. After purchasing electricity, the user needs to insert the electricity purchase card into the meter to recharge. When inserting the card, insert it into the meter slot in the direction shown by the arrow. To ensure the normal operation of the electronic card, the time for inserting the card should not be less than 15 seconds. When the meter prompts that the card reading is successful, you can pull out the electronic card.

4. After the power supply of the smart meter is interrupted, the circuit components of the energy meter are still working with electricity, so pay attention to safety. Inserting the card should be done by an adult to prevent electric shock.

5. The electronic card of the smart IC card meter should be kept properly, not bend, polluted or immersed, and should be far away from the magnetic field. After degaussing or losing the power purchase card, report to the power supply department to replace the card in time.
